3rd Floor, North Wing, CTSI Building 2004 Mowry Road UF Gainesville, FL 32610The University of Florida CTSI Human Imaging Core provides infrastructure and support to facilitate research and educational activities using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technology, with particular emphasis on translational MRI research in human. The Core is located on the ground floor of McKnight Brain Institute (MBI), Rooms LG109 – LG114. The centerpiece of the Core is a state-of-the-art 3.0 Tesla, 32-channel Philips whole-body human MRI scanner dedicated to research. The scanner is equipped with a series of coils for imaging human organ systems, including a 32-channel head coil for neuroimaging applications with significant gains in signal-to-noise ratio and acquisition speed. An ESys® system by Invivo (Invivo Corporation, Gainesville, Florida) is available for presenting video and audio signals including functional MRI task paradigms to the subjects during scanning. The Core is a resource, on a fee-for-service basis, open to UF Health researchers, as well as researchers from outside UF through collaborations with UF Health researchers including those in the Core. In conjunction with two higher magnetic field magnets (4.7T and 11T) for imaging animals and/or tissue samples in the Advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Spectroscopy (AMRIS) Facility which is housed on the same floor in the MBI and is the biological arm of the NSF-funded National High Magnetic Field Laboratory, the CTSI Human Imaging Core is a state-of-the-art facility for cutting-edge translational MRI research in human health and diseases. If your CRO isn’t showing up on the map, then please be sure your company profile is up to date in Scientist.com’s Backoffice. After logging in, click the Your Company button in the navigation at the top, and then select the Locations tab.
Information about my organization is incorrect, how do I fix it?
Head over to backoffice.scientist.com to update your supplier profile and information. It may take up to two business days for the updates to be reflected on the map.
