3rd Floor, North Wing, CTSI Building 2004 Mowry Road UF Gainesville, FL 32610At the CTSI Genotyping Core, we provide consultation and guidance to the researchers who need assistance in designing and performing genetics and pharmacogenetics studies, and provide genotype data for their research projects. Services are offered as fee for service (and in some circumstances, through collaboration) to many researchers working on human, plant, small and large animal genetics. Two units comprise the CTSI Genotyping Core, the Center for Pharmacogenomics Genotyping Laboratory, and the Molecular Services Core of the ICBR. The Center for Pharmacogenomics Genotyping Laboratory provides sample handling and processing services, along with individualized single-plex through 384-plex genotyping assays. The ICBR provides sequencing and large-scale (e.g. genome-wide) genotyping services. Services include; receiving and processing of different types of samples used for DNA and RNA isolation (eg. Blood, different human, animal, and plant tissues, mouthwash, saliva), Whole Genome Amplification of DNA, DNA quantitation by spectrophotometer; DNA quantitation by PicoGreen, PCR and RT-PCR reactions, measuring telomere length and telomerase activity, mutation discovery, genotyping by conventional RFLP method and low to high-throughput genotyping techniques using the platforms that are available at the UF Center for Pharmacogenomics such as; Pyrosequencing, TaqMan, and Illumina Veracode BeadXpress. Next Generation Sequencing and genotyping groups at ICBR offers cutting-edge DNA sequencing services on the Roche 454 Genome Sequencer (GS) FLXTM Standard, FLX TitaniumTM and Applied Biosystems (ABI) SOLiDTM instruments and genotyping services such as, Whole genome SNP genotyping , Copy number/Loss of heterozygosity genotyping, standard panels (cancer SNP, non-synonymous human, MHC), Human and mouse linkage analysis panels, GoldenGate custom panels, iSelect custom panels on Illumina BeadStation 500G Genotyping System.

How do I get my organization listed on the map?
If your CRO isn’t showing up on the map, then please be sure your company profile is up to date in Scientist.com’s Backoffice. After logging in, click the Your Company button in the navigation at the top, and then select the Locations tab.
Information about my organization is incorrect, how do I fix it?
Head over to backoffice.scientist.com to update your supplier profile and information. It may take up to two business days for the updates to be reflected on the map.
