This service is supported by Nitto's core technologies: a proprietary ionizable lipid library; clinical experience with proprietary LNP formulations gained through pipeline programs; and ctLNP design through precise control of surface ligand density enabling high targeting efficiency. Nitto is one of only a limited number of organizations worldwide that have advanced a systemically administered siRNA-LNP therapeutic into clinical development and is among the first companies to have conducted a clinical study of a ligand-conjugated ctLNP formulation. As one example, Nitto reported a VHH†-conjugated, CD8⁺ T cell-targeted LNP enabling in vivo CAR-T generation in Nano Letters (2026; see URL below).* The paper shows that targeting efficiency depends on ligand density in a bell-shaped manner (an optimal density exists) — excessive density is detrimental — establishing the importance of ligand-density control. The ctLNP formulation described in the paper is available for feasibility study (FS). If your CRO isn’t showing up on the map, then please be sure your company profile is up to date in Scientist.com’s Backoffice. After logging in, click the Your Company button in the navigation at the top, and then select the Locations tab.
