Founded in 1997 by the Institute’s Director, Professor of Dermatology Sarah Brenner, ISR has a panel of 2,000 professionally pre-screened volunteer subjects from among whom samples are drawn for the assessment of product and ingredient safety, performance and acceptability. ISR also recruits panels of subjects to meet specific client demands, and proposes study strategies and protocols best suited to client requirements. ISR has extensive experience in conducting exacting Phase I-IV trials for a variety of dermatology indicators. All studies comply with internationally accepted norms, such as those specified in the GLP and GCP guidelines. Where required, studies are conducted according to the European Colipa and the American FDA guidelines. What services do we offer? The Institute conducts standard and customized studies to determine efficacy, safety and performance characteristics for a range of products, to maximize market acceptance while accurately identifying and reporting adverse side effects. ISR functions as an independent entity, and draws upon the resources of an internationally acclaimed contact laboratory at its disposal. Products tested include cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food supplements, raw materials, medical devices, and textiles.

How do I get my organization listed on the map?
If your CRO isn’t showing up on the map, then please be sure your company profile is up to date in Scientist.com’s Backoffice. After logging in, click the Your Company button in the navigation at the top, and then select the Locations tab.
Information about my organization is incorrect, how do I fix it?
Head over to backoffice.scientist.com to update your supplier profile and information. It may take up to two business days for the updates to be reflected on the map.
