Due to cultural and regulatory challenges, they remain underrepresented in biopharma and diagnostics R&D, offering significant untapped potential. IBS GL serves as the central hub for customer interactions and project management, overseeing all regional activities conducted by its subsidiaries and directly contracted local partners. This structure simplifies client access to IBS GL’s full capabilities and streamlines financial transactions across the network. Collection locations: Armenia, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Georgia, Argentina, Bulgaria. Additional collection sites are developed in the UAE (via partnership with Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi), Saudi Arabia (with leading medical universities), Egypt (through the Arab Biobanking Network), and Ethiopia (in collaboration with AHRI, the country’s leading medical research institute with its own clinical sites). Biospecimens collection capabilities: Diseases/TAs: Solid oncology, hematology and onco-hematology, rheumatology-inflammation (RA, PsA, SLE, Myasthenia Gravis, etc.), neurology, dermatology, gastroenterology (UC, Crohn’s, pancreatic and liver diseases), ophthalmology, infection, pediatrics, orphan/rare diseases. Collection from normal controls is also possible. Importantly, the range of therapeutic areas and types of biospecimens we can collect continues to evolve with the growth of our clinical network and is driven by customer demand. Capabilities of that may be of particular interest: - Large collection of oncology and non-oncology FFPE samples (inventory available). - CSF from diseased subject and healthy controls (inventory available). - Aqueous humor from PM and live subjects (inventory available). - Rare/genetic/orphan diseases (inventory available). - Schizophrenia: blood and serum from 1200 fully consented patients (Schizophrenia.xlsx). - Neurological disorders, e.g. ALS, Alzheimer's, etc. - Intestinal Fluid: a mix of bile and pancreatic juice obtained using the proprietary device PandiCath® developed by our sister company PANDICA LTD. The biomaterial is obtained directly from the duodenum without artificial stimulation (e.g. by secretin) and is free from gastric contamination. Volumes exceeding 100 mL per subject are achievable, and detailed inventory is available. This biomaterial has already been used by pharmaceutical clients for applications such as drug solubility testing. PandiCath® also enables collection from other targeted GI segments and supports precise delivery of substances into specific intestinal sites for controlled exposure and local absorption studies. Ethics: As expected, we collect biospecimens only from clinical partners with whom we have formal contractual agreements. All prospective collections are conducted under approved informed consent forms (ICFs) reviewed by local or national ethics committees (IRBs). Archival samples are collected either with previously obtained consent, actively re-consented during the project, or under waiver of consent (WoC), as applicable. We maintain full transparency regarding the ethical coverage of each collection.
