Antineo is providing services for the evaluation of new anti-cancer compounds (small molecules, antibodies, peptides, etc.). The company provides scientific consultancy and supports its customers in optimizing the development of their anti-cancer compounds through a range of services from in vitro (cell toxicity, sample characterization...) to in vivo (anti-tumor efficacy, toxicity, pharmacokinetic studies), and also ex vivo services (determination of mechanism of action or target by flow cytometry...). The company has a library of over 150 human and murine tumor cell lines, representative of different types of cancer (colon cancer, breast cancer, cancer mutated for a particular gene, etc.). These cell lines are derived from patient tumors, which have been surgically removed and then cultured to stabilize them as cell lines. The advantage of these tumor cell lines is that they are highly stable and give highly reproducible results, both for in vitro experiments and for xenograft experiments in mice. The evaluation of immunotherapeutic agents may also require complex preclinical models with intact immune systems. In syngeneic models, the team uses immortalized allografts from murine cancer cell lines and re-implants them into the same strain of immunocompetent mice. Models implanted in this way offer several advantages, such as a functional immune system, making them suitable for evaluating the efficacy of new immunotherapeutic approaches to cancer. Antineo also has an R&D activity through which the company develops original models of resistance to reference therapies, notably immune checkpoint inhibitors currently available on the market to assess the efficacy of new anti-cancer therapies, as well as in vitro models of 3D-printed tumors.
