We are a full service contract research organization specializing in preclinical models for safety, toxicology, and efficacy studies for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies. Our laboratory originated at Duke Medical Center leading to the formation of Synchrony Labs as an independent contract research facility in 2001. For over a decade, Synchrony Labs has been successfully conducting preclinical research.
Three spacious operating rooms provide the necessary equipment to perform preclinical interventional procedures for coronary, peripheral, and electrophysiology devices, as well as surgical interventions including cardiac, bariatric, and tissue grafting procedures. The Synchrony Labs team has vast experience in rodent, rabbit, porcine, canine, ovine, and caprine models.
Synchrony Labs can accomodate the majority of dosing routes in all the models we have available.
With extraordinary scientists, toxicologists, interventionists, surgeons, veterinarians, technicians (dosing, anesthesia, laboratory, necropsy, histology, and animal care), pathologists (MD and DVM), Synchrony Labs can accomodate studies varying from simple to extremely complex.
Our unique team combined with the services of a board certified veterinary pathologist, provide the client with superior preclinical histologic evaluation of experimental therapeutics.
