Our expanded capabilities provide you with solutions in human and animal biologics, from Normal to Diseased State, Biofluids to Tissues. BioIVT’s ASTERAND human tissues are procured through an unparalleled worldwide network of over 100 active collaborative donor institutions. Our biobank contains several hundred thousand specimens from a broad range of therapeutic areas and with many ethnicities. Our tissues provide high value to our clients because the quantity of material provided for each sample allows scientists to conduct multiple experiments using a single specimen. In addition, our renowned quality assurance procedures provide stringent controls on specimen collection and characterization and on the corresponding clinical data. As part of this process, we also independently confirm pathology and assess RNA integrity of our tissues. Our quality control results are provided to researchers before they make their purchases. This enables researchers to choose samples that will best meet their scientific requirements. Through our custom procurement service, human tissues and clinical data can also be custom collected to meet special requirements.
BioIVT’s PHASEZERO® Research Services Team offers exemplary scientific expertise in human tissue research, with experience in providing top multinational pharmaceutical companies with human tissue-based services since 1996. Our PHASEZERO drug discovery services platform provides a collaborative scientific approach to deliver human tissue-based data on target & biomarker validation as well as compound potency, effect and safety. Our studies can be custom designed and are conducted on a fee-for-service basis where our clients own and retain all resulting IP and data.
Human Tissue, Biofluid, Immune Cells and Primary Cells
As the leading provider of high quality human tissue, biofluids, immune cells and primary cells with associated clinical information BioIVT’s human biospecimens are procured and quality controlled following rigorous criteria. We acquire biospecimens through different procurement means to best meet the supply demand of our customers through an IRB-approved process. Our bank includes material that is prospectively obtained in a variety of formats including fresh frozen and FFPE, as well as biofluids. We offer tissue sets collected as mirrored and/or matched pairs or as a quad set. In addition, we offer immortalized cell lines, primary cells, immune cells tissue microarrays as well as biospecimen services such as the creation of tissue derivatives.
Custom Procurement of Human Tissue and Biofluid
BioIVT offers human tissues and clinical data custom collected to meet unique research requirements within a wide range of disease categories. Samples are provided in multiple preserved formats or as fresh and unpreserved biospecimens. For biofluids, specific coagulants and processing can be performed for fit-for-purpose collection. As a result, we deliver human tissue, biofluid and accompanying clinical information that is most compatible with your experimental design. With our exceptional network we are able to offer tissue and biofluid custom collected in various formats across a broad therapeutic offering.
